Read that. It's as simple as it can be, but still hella confusing for people who're not wiki-savvy.

Oh, trust me, I did. As many Guru posters have noted, Alesia is braindead.
Anyhow, I got a Resto Rit guild mate and his Monk hero to help me complete the mission; without bumbling henchmen it was a piece of cake. Please disavow my angry post as I was in a sour mood to begin with.

R.I.P. Defy Pain (PvP)
It's been fun tanking turtles, stalling opponents, and cause grief to the opposition while it lasted. You will be missed.

Um...what other part of the game is in such a dire state that they are idiots for putting GvG first?

Well, obviously the Paragon in PvE!
I mean, yes, GvG is the core foundation and signature of Guild Wars, but damnit, we need spears to deal more damage in PvE!

In the quest Temple of the Intolerable, do the swarms of patrols actually bloody stop, AT ALL?
I'm finding it ridiculous trying to do it with 3 heroes and 2 lvl 10 henchmen.
I've lured incoming groups one at a time on bridge, waited, lured more as they come, fine...
Then I've eventually lured the boss group seperately, and disposed of them. I then attack boss and more come, which wiped me, I returned, battle more side groups, then regain composure only to be on 50% death penatly so gave up. Lvl 10 hench are bad enough as they are, but on 50% health, there's no f'ing point.
I've tried the mission 3 times now, running Elementalist with searing flames bar, and I tried a full nuke bar, but to no avail. I'm sure other chars could do it easier, SoS, Warriors or Assassins as you can control how and when to spike the boss, but needing 2 monks, to keep my team alive, limits me to 2 level 10 damage dealers and myself. There really isn't enough damage!
I'd rather get smacked in the face at this rate, it's so annoying! Can someone give me a hand please?

angel, I too was under the frustration of running a searing flames ele for the War in Kryta stuff, but then I decided to start running SoS on my ele. Now, the War in Kryta is a breeze. As for this particular quest, you are doing it correctly. Just lure the side groups until there is a lull in groups coming, then lure the mantle boss group. If any other side groups show up, take them out until a lull of groups coming, and then flag your heroes onto the pedastel where the boss is so that other side groups that come will be out of your agro. I hope this helps.

Still no buff for Monks even for smiting as well as some protection prayer skills. You might want to give Divine Favour a look at like you did with Fast Casting with Mesmers and increase the bonus instead of 3.2*x.

Monks are fine, ER elems are the problem
Tho direct damage smiting maybe needs a little tweak, but the support smite skills are fine as they are.

Yeah ER is OPed but some protection skills could use like SoD and I agree with smiting direct damage.

When you have dispatched of all groups pull the mobs around the boss, he wont follow - pull them all the way to the bridge so you won't get aggro from other (new) groups.
Once you have dispatched of them kill whatever new groups have come, and immediately after you've done that run to the boss and flag your h/h on the plateau behind the boss, when you do that other new groups spawning wont aggro you provided you stay up there.
I had a bit of trouble with my Warrior but I eventually finished it (had to use one or two DP removers), didn't have much of a problem with my Rit.
EDIT: DOH I see McAttack posted pretty much the same thing.

1. If you're going to H+H it, might as well try HM.
2. The mobs from the sides follow a very simple pattern: Kill 1 mob stationed inside the temple, one mob will come in from the side. Kill that mob, and a second one will come in from the side. Kill that mob and nothing will come.
Just imagine the temple as containing 3x as many mobs as you see, stay out on the bridge, and bow pull mobs one at a time until you have a clear shot at the mantel boss's mob. Pull that, kill it, go back to the bridge, pull and kill the next two mobs that come in. The you're ready for the mursaat.
3. Hint for the mursaat: His helpers spawn on the platform, regardless of where he happens to be.
4. Bonus hint for the mursaat: BHA > caster boss.

Well, I would like to see Reversal of Damage fixed to include life steal, just like Reversal of Fortune and Shielding Hands.
